Simon Cowell pelted with eggs on BGT live broadcast

London, June 9 (ANI): Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell was egged live on TV during the finale of the reality show.

Violinist Natalie Holt, who was booted off BGT last year with string quartet Raven, ran from her place in the orchestra to the front of the stage and started aiming eggs at the judge, the Sun reported.

She splattered Cowell's jacket and shirt with five eggs before the security took her away.

Bemused opera act Richard and Adam Johnson carried on singing while she did the unexpected act.

Natalie later apologized, saying that her act was silly.

Cowell, who did not press any charges, later on joked that the Britain's Got Talent has got the 'Eggs-Factor'. (ANI)
