The only choice of food in Zumbahua on the Quilotoa Loop in Ecuador, up at 3,700 m (12,140 ft). For $1 I was served 2 pieces of pork fat attached to a few strands of meat and some oily plantains. Clearly not the healthiest of roadside foods, but I guess up here in the cold, pork fat is what's needed to sustain the calories.
