Celebrating 100 years of the Titanic
On April 10, 1912, the Titanic set sail on its maiden voyage, traveling from Southampton, England, to New York. It was nicknamed the "Millionaire's Special". 100 years later, a cruise carrying descendants of some of the more than 1,500 people who died aboard the ill-fated ship, set sail from England on Sunday to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the White Star liner. The luxury liner, called S. S. Balmoral, will take the same route as the Titanic. Tickets for this journey costs GBP 8000 each. The ship will stop on April 15 at the place where the Titanic sank for a memorial.
