Bollywood makeovers: The good and the ugly

The idea behind a full-fledged makeover is to get rid of your awkwardness, to upgrade to a more classy/edgy wardrobe and to enhance your appearance in general. In fact, getting makeovers has become the 'in' thing to do. If anyone is feeling not good enough or not in sync with the latest trend, they simply hop on to the makeover bandwagon. A few expensive clothes, a new hairstyle and some makeup later, the person is touted to have ‘re-invented’ her style. Bollywood has had its share of makeovers too. While some have been top notch, others have been downright embarrassing. Take a look.

She gave up on the long ghaghras and garish makeup for a subtle, sophisticated look. She was in shape and had a size zero figure before being so was made popular by her sister.
