If the wooden foundation is rotting due to the lack of water in the Yamuna, well then ,Govt should look into the alternative of having a check dam on the two extreme ends ,atleast 2
km from the TAJ RIVER BANK and make sure that river does not drain out between the
check dams including the summer months. This way the wooden foundations can remain moist always.SIBY XAVIER - Bangalore.

it has been a mark of true love since 400year(appox) I urge the young Indian to come forward to save the monument .............at that time there was only one Shahjhan, now we have 543 odd numbers of Shahjhan the only difference is King Shahjhan love the country and its countrymen ......and today's Shahjhan ............guess
      • Saroj 4 months ago
Pagal he kya....saying "King Shahjhan love the country and its countrymen". he used india's money for his wife..not his hard earning money and that to he killed so many indians....

There are many postulates and then rumors. Ice melting and disappearance of some land is scientifically correct but will take hundreds/thousands of years. But decay due to other environment factors such as acidic rain on Marble could be controlled by us
