    Easy ways to cut Calories

Gaining weight and don’t know why? If this question/situation haunts you then you can stay assured that you’re not alone.

Almost every person who gains weight does not know how it happened! Well, we are going to be honest and tell you how: you’re calorie intake has crossed the permissible limit i.e. you eat too much. To lose weight, you need to cut back on your calories. By this we don’t mean you must do something drastic and greatly reduce your eating portions. You can gradually cut back on your food intake and cut calories without drastically impacting your diet.

    1. Start your meal with a salad

Eating salads is a healthy way to cut down on the calories. It is nourishing, filling and can be made appetising if cooked correctly using the right ingredients. Of course, you must take care to not load your salad with cheese, mayo sauce, bacon or any other fattening ingredient. Eating a substantial amount of salad will limit your main course intake and thus you will consume fewer calories.

    2. Chew your food more

The longer you take to chew your food, the better it will get digested and the lesser you will eat. The more you chew, the better you will be able to enjoy your food and this prolonged chewing will be processed by your brain as you consuming more in terms of quantity. Therefore, this is a way of cheating your brain into thinking you have eaten enough to satiate your appetite, when you have in fact eaten less only slower.

    3. Control your portions

If you are the one who cannot give up on a particular food item, then make sure you moderate your portions. Don’t over eat and certainly don’t eat a lot of food during one meal. Space your meals out and thoroughly regulate your portions. Small is beautiful.

    4. Coffee calories

We understand a stressful work day requires you to drink lots of coffee. But if you are serious about cutting back on the calories, then you need to let coffee go. If you can’t give up on it entirely, then you must drastically reduce its intake.

    5. Walk the Talk

Remember Idea’s Walk and Talk ad? If you want to lose those extra calories then walk when you talk. It’s as simple as that. This simple alteration in your daily habit will hugely benefit your body weight.

Making tiny alterations in your daily lifestyle and diet will help you lose weight. Cutting back on these extra and unnecessary calories is good for your health and also for your heart. (Health, MensXP.com)
